A calligraphy group that meets at The Tin Hat Centre, Selston, has received £400 from The Mansfield Building Society’s Community Support Scheme.

Patricia Adlington, of the group, pictured with The Mansfield’s chief executive, Gev Lynott, said: “It will allow us to cover the costs of hiring a room for a year. We are endeavouring to keep the skill alive in this technological age where handwriting is fast dying out.”
