Reach Learning Disability is delighted to have exceeded its target for this year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge – a national matched-funding campaign that enables people to have their donations to charity doubled.

Through the Big Give Christmas Challenge, Reach has raised more than £16,000 for its Holidays & More Project in just one week. The funds will go towards the costs of planning supportive opportunities for people with learning disabilities to get out and about safely again.

Julia Sandhu, fundraising director, said: “The Big Give Christmas Challenge was a fantastic way for our supporters to make an even greater impact with their donations. We could not have achieved our target without the generosity of our local community.

“Thanks to individual donors, our pledgers and our Big Give Charity Champion, The Reed Foundation, our Holidays & More Project will provide opportunities for our clients to enjoy new experiences and develop their independence skills alongside the bespoke support of our expert staff. We would like to thank all our supporters and wish them a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2022.”
