The Amazon Breast Cancer Support Group charity was on to a winner for its fundraising to help patients at King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton.
Its Hunters Race Night, the first since covid restrictions were lifted, was held at Skegby’s Triple S Social Club and raised £1,848.
Hosted by R & N Productions, it included a raffle, lucky dip gifts, a free ticket draw for wine and a cuddly bear, a bottle of wine for winning horse ‘owners’, and free packets of nibbles on each table.
The charity thanked everyone who supported the event, including Asda, the Card Factory, and the Triple S management and staff.

There was a raffle, singing, donations from hotel guests, and a donation of £38 from the hotel proprietors, the Gregory family.
