Malcolm and Rachel Hall receive the Midlands Exporter of the Year award from Jason Wouhra, of East End Foods.

MANSFIELD-BASED industrial Supplies firm Hall-Fast has retained the title Midlands Exporter of the Year for an unprecedented third year in a row. Owners Malcolm and Rachel Hall received the award at the Midlands Business Awards on Friday 28th February at the NEC Hilton Metropole Hotel, Birmingham.

Mr Hall thanked both UK Trade and Investment and the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce for their continued help and advice. He said: “I would like to give a special mention to Bob O’Meara, who has been our UKTI trade advisor since we started to export back in January 2009.

“Bob retired last week and I would like to take this opportunity to publicly recognise his role in the Hall-Fast export success story.”
