Theatregoers are being given the chance to have their names displayed in a wall at the Palace Theatre, Mansfield — and help to raise money for the venue’s latest initiative.
The theatre is appealing for money to improving lighting through its Pillars Of Support scheme.
It will buy time-saving LED units, modern Tungsten lamp Fresnels and computerised moving lights.
Those donating to the cause will have their names put on a Supporters Wall that is to be erected during the summer.
For £100 a maximum of 36 characters can be displayed on the wall in a 175mm x 50mm space for ten years.
Cultural services manager Andrew Tucker said: “Mansfield Palace Theatre is one of the town’s oldest entertainment venues and we need your help to preserve it for future generations to enjoy as much as we do.”
