Do you sell toys, buckets and spades, or children’s swim wear, sun hats, holiday clothes or even seaside rock?
If so Mansfield District Council could have the perfect opportunity for you to reach new customers.
As part of Mansfield BID’s Life’s A Beach summer activity next month, which will see a sandy beach in place for four weeks in Mansfield Market Place, the council is seeking traders interested in taking market stalls next to the beach.
There is already a stall that plans to sell beach towels and a panini seller, but there are spaces for more food and summer goods traders.
They can sign up any time for a stall. They cost £10 on Mondays or Wednesdays, £15 on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays, and £20 on Saturdays.
The beach is free and open daily from Monday, 10 August to Tuesday, 2 September, from 10am to 4pm. It has been organised in partnership with Mansfield trader Food For All Seasons.
To book a stall contact Nicola Harvey on [email protected] or call 01623 463818.
Coun Stewart Rickersey, Portfolio Holder for Corporate Services, said: “The beach will be a big draw for local families so this would be a great trading opportunity for stallholders. We hope some seasonal stalls will take up these spaces which will help to bring a real flavour of summer to Mansfield town centre.”
