Skegby fundraisers John and Sharon Cooper hosted an evening party in the garden at their home, raising £730 for the Amazon Breast Cancer Support Group, based at King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton.

As well as hot and cold party food, sweets, and drinks, Sharon entertained a quiz, and there were fundraising games of card bingo and a raffle.

Amazon chairperson Beryl Perrin, pictured centre with the couple (above), thanked the regular fundraisers as well as their generous supporters.

Sharon and John said they appreciated the help of family members Michele, Stacey, Lee, Jacob, Phil and Alan.

Donations and raffle prizes were received from Brian, Alan and Sue, Mandy and Abi from Speed The Plough, Kay from Ocean Blue, Donna and Fred, Pauline and Anne, Sylv, Rosemary, Beryl, and Ang and Anne.
