A Sutton gymnastics academy received a £2,000 donation from the Amazon fulfilment centre in Chesterfield.

Sherwood Oaks Gymnastics Academy, which caters for more than 300 children, has used the money towards another set of asymmetric bars.

Stacey Mather, who nominated the academy, said: “I’m pleased that Sherwood Oaks has been chosen. It’s a great club that does important work for young people in our community.”

Zoe McDonald, academy trustee, added: “Our members have really missed visiting our club over the last year and this donation will help us provide an even better training experience.”
