Skegby fundraisers Sharon and John Cooper went partly Greek style for their latest fundraising evening garden party in support of the Amazon Breast Cancer Support Group, which helps patients at King’s Mill Hospital. 

As well as a variety of Greek and English food, Sharon hosted a testing quiz and there was also card bingo and a raffle. A total of £325 was raised.

The couple’s six-year-old grandson, Jacob, was a star helper. Michele and Stacey, Kay and Terry, Debbie and Geoff, and Lynn were among other helpers. The Amazons thanked everyone involved.
