Tribute to ex-Stags star

A minute’s silence will be held prior to kick-off tomorrow at Mansfield Town’s home match against Dagenham & Redbridge in memory of former winger Johnny Miller, who died yesterday, aged 65.

Miller was a key part of the most successful Stags’ league outfit of all time, the side which won the Third Division Championship in 1976-77 and played in the second tier of English football the following season, the only Stags side to have done so.

Adam Murray’s players will wear black armbands in as a sign of respect to the Ipswich-born player, who also played for Ipswich Town and Norwich City.

Kick-off is at 3pm.
