Sutton Inner Wheel celebrated World Inner Wheel Day with an overseas working party at the home of president Mrs Pam Lord.

Members collected and bought items to pack up in parcels for overseas, including bags prepared for men, women and children and also baby bundles.

These were taken to the National Police Aid Convoy, Mansfield, which took the parcels to Zambia.

Thirteen backpacks were also completed for the charity Mary’s Wheels.

A homemade lunch (pictured) followed and a business meeting was held to discuss future Inner Wheel events and projects, including the District quiz, a theme evening and an overnight visit to Stratford.
