Young people wanted to take part in Prince’s Trust programme

The Mansfield Prince’s Trust is running its first Mansfield team programme of 2016 – the 40th anniversary of the organisation – from 25th January.

Anyone aged 16 to 25 who wants to take part is urged to get in touch with team leader Andy Ward on 07812 658 619.

Based at Mansfield Fire Station on Rosemary Street, the team programme will run for 12 weeks from 25th January.

It aims to help young people gain a qualification in Teamwork, Employment and Community skills along with Basic First Aid, Manual Handling and Basic Food Hygiene.

As well as the formal qualifications, the course will develop their confidence and problem-solving skills and help them leave with a well-constructed CV with lots of additional skills and experiences included.

An open day for interested young people to find out more about the programme, apply, and be interviewed will be held on Wednesday, 20th January at Mansfield Fire Station, from 10am.
