The finals of the Mansfield Rotary Club Young Chef 2015 competition were held at Brunts Academy, judged by Patricia Harman, from West Nottinghamshire College, and Rotarian Henry Thomas.

First prize was awarded to Louis Vallance, of All Saints’ Academy, Mansfield, who will compete in the district final in February.

Brunts students Chloe Marshall and Rachael Dubourg were second and third respectively.

Rotarian Karen Johnson said it was the fourth year of the competition and the standard continued to be very high.
