Children and adults alike can discover the story of the letter-writing revolution, enabled by the introduction of the world’s first stamp, the Penny Black, in 1840, and the UK’s first pillar boxes in 1852
Learning about the individuals who made this possible, visitors will discover how millions of people’s lives were changed as a result of their innovative problem solving.
