Around 30 members and friends enjoyed cakes, strawberries and cream, and Bucks Fizz at the home of Susan Smailes and more than £300 was raised for the club’s international charities.

The club also held a barbecue for members, friends and Kirkby Rotarians at the home of Inner Wheel member Linda White and her husband, Rotn Karl Whites.

Inner Wheel club president Jacquie Chapman provided a treasure map game, which was followed by a raffle. Money raised was divided between the clubs’ charities.
