Kirkby Inner Wheel Club has welcomed new members Barbara Williams and Barbara Broomhead.

The club’s success in steadily increasing membership is due in part to inviting guests to meetings and its social activities.

President Jacquie Chapman is enthusiastic about the friendship and advantages of being a member and is keen to increase membership numbers to at least 40 by the end of her year in office.

She said “The friendship, camaraderie and welcome given to prospective members as well as the aim to help those in need plays a big part in our success.”
