Skegby Guides has received £390 from The Mansfield Building Society’s Community Support Scheme.

The money went towards the cost of buying tents and other camping equipment, which will be initially used to take girls to an international camp at Chatsworth House.

Pam Peak, of Skegby Guides, said: “We are grateful to The Mansfield for providing funds for this much needed equipment.”
The Mansfield’s branch supervisor, Carole Dallison, pictured with the group, said: “We are very pleased to be able to help.

“The Guides have a long history of giving local young girls experiences they would not normally have. They also provide a valuable service in helping our local community.”
