Mansfield Town launched their programme of pre-season friendlies with a comfortable 5-1 win in the Green Energy Cup at Rainworth.

The Stags put out different sides in each half. Former youth team striker netted in the first half. New signings Adi Yussuf (2), Craig Westcarr and Nicky Hunt netted after the break.

Returning striker Matt Green was at the game but did not play. Injured wingman Matty Blair was also present, but again did not feature in the action.

The Stags play at Carlton on Tuesday and at Tamworth on Saturday.
