Residents at HC-One’s Berry Hill Park Care Home, Mansfield, were treated to a celebration of Scottish culture as they marked Burns Night with a mix of creativity, music, and delicious traditional dishes.
The festivities started with residents taking part in a painting session, where they crafted their own versions of the iconic Scottish flag – the Saltire.
Many Berry Hill Park residents embraced the opportunity to get artistic, as they created colourful renditions while chatting about Scotland’s history and culture. Residents and colleagues joined in with a lively karaoke session, singing their favourite songs and grooving to the tunes.
After an energetic morning full of fun, residents and colleagues enjoyed some Scottish themed snacks of shortbread and Irn Bru.
Tara Spencer, Berry Hill Park Care Home manager, said: “It’s been such a wonderful day, filled with fun, laughter, and lots of lovely memories.”
