Students, families and staff from The Garibaldi School spent their final day of term helping make a difference for those in need this Christmas.
The Forest Town-based school – which is part of the Nova Education Trust – continued its tradition of donating to local food banks at Christmas.
This year’s donations are being sent to Sherwood Forest Food Bank in Mansfield Woodhouse.
Headteacher Paddy Cassidy said: “At The Garibaldi School, we work hard to make sure that students are proud of their community.
“We want to make a difference for those who might need some help, especially at this time of year.
“It was really pleasing to see so many students, families and staff come together in our annual food bank collection.
“I’m especially proud of our student leaders, who helped us to collect and load-up the significant donation.
“I would like to thank everyone who made a contribution. Everyone should be very proud of the difference they will make to someone who needs it this Christmas.”
