Five primary school fundraising groups in the Mansfield area are working together to try new ways of raising money and offering events and activities.

Their latest event was a family quiz night. Four of the schools — Asquith, Oak Tree, Berry Hill and Wynndale in Mansfield — invited families to take part. Abbey School also took part.

The quiz was supported by both Jubilee and Chesterfield Road Tesco stores, which provided prizes.

Berry Hill Super Six (pictured) won the trophy. Mrs Helen Ellis, chairman of Berry Hill PTFA, said: “It was great to see families from different schools come together and have an enjoyable time. It is something we will try again because the atmosphere was very relaxed.”
