Blidworth-based Faye Finaro, founder of the innovative SOS Beauty Mobile App, has won its sixth accolade in two years since the business was founded.

It was named Best Mobile App of 2024 at the IBAC Business Awards.

The app, which connect users with local beauty professionals for last-minute appointments, has grown exponentially since its launch.

With more than 2,000 businesses across the UK registered on the platform and a thriving online community of over 30,000 beauty business owners, Faye said the app was revolutionising how beauty services were accessed and delivered.

“I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved,” she said. “SOS Beauty was created to make beauty services more accessible, while supporting local businesses.

“Winning these awards shows the impact we’re making in the industry, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.”

Earlier this year Faye won two accolades at the Female Boss Awards — the Female Empowerment Award and Business of the Year.
