COLLEAGUES from a Mansfield opticians have raised thousands of pounds for al breast cancer charity in memory of their store director, Imogen Hoyle.
A prize-winning raffle and a bake sale helped the Specsavers store raise £2,750 for Maggie’s Nottingham, which offers free support and advice for people dealing with cancer.
The team from the West Gate store wore orange to represent the charity.
“We were delighted to have raised so much money for this worthy cause,” said store director Patrick Hegarty.
“The charity is very close to our hearts because they were so supportive of Imogen and her family during her battle with cancer.
“We want to thank all our customers for their support in helping us raise so much money for such an inspiring organisation, as well as all the local businesses who donated fabulous prizes.”
