Blidworth hairdresser Kerry Marsh White presented a cheque for £1,300 to the Amazon Breast Cancer Support Group (below) after a coffee, cake, and raffle event at her Xpressions Hair & Beauty Salon.

Amazon chairperson Beryl Perrin, pictured receiving the donation at the charity’s breast cancer awareness month open support meeting in the Amazon Lounge at King’s Mill Hospital. Sutton, said: “It was an amazing accomplishment by everyone involved and the Amazons thank them for their continuing generous support, and particularly Kerry for organising the event, raising awareness, and supporting King’s Mill patients.”
