Scarecrow competitions are planned for June at the annual Warsop Parish Church Garden Party and by Pleasley Parish Council.
The Warsop event is at the Old Rectory garden, Church Road, Church Warsop, on Saturday, 13th June.

The competition is on a heroes and heroines (real or fictional) theme and people are urged to take part.

Entry is free. Scarecrows should be taken to the rectory after 9.30am. Judging will be by the public, via a form that will be available at the rectory from 9.30am.

The Pleasley Parish Council Scarecrow Festival is at the Verney Institute, on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June, from 9am to 5pm, with proceeds going to the King’s Mill Hospital Dialysis Unit.
