Mansfield-based former racehorse to compete in Aintree championships

More than 300 horses will be taking part in Great Britain’s largest event exclusively for former racehorses, The Jockey Club RoR National Championships in Aintree.

Among them will be Peveril Point, who has been retrained by Mansfield husband and wife team David and Jude Worthington, and  will be competing in dressage. Peveril Point is also part of Team GB’s horseball team – a combination of rugby, polo, netball, and basketball played on horseback.

The event in Aintree will feature classes in dressage, arena eventing, showjumping, and showing, demonstrating the remarkable versatility of former racehorses after they retire from the sport.
