An opticians is supporting a charity that works to prevent sight loss and avoidable blindness in more than 30 countries across Africa and Asia.

Pinders Opticians, which has branches in Mansfield, Southwell, Warsop, and Ollerton, is collaborating with Nikon Lenswear UK to support Sightsavers.

The charity aims to treat eye conditions, tackle debilitating diseases, and advocate for equality.

Until 31st August, for each pair of SeeCoat, Polarised, or SeeMax Sports Nikon lenses bought at Pinders, a donation will be made by Nikon to Sightsavers.

Peter Herniman, co-director of Pinders, said: “We are extremely proud to be working with Nikon Lenswear UK in supporting Sightsavers for its 2024 charity campaign.

“Summer is a busy period for us as many of clients are organising their sunglasses in anticipation of their summer holidays.
