Latest Horrible Histories stage show coming to Mansfield

Rotten Royals – the new Horrible Histories stage show – is at Mansfield Palace Theatre on Saturday, 13th July with tales of revolting rulers and mad monarchs from Britain’s barmy past.

A fast-paced two-hander from Birmingham Stage Company, audiences will discover all the most gruesome and awful truths about British royals in the most hilarious way imaginable.

Rotten Royals is written by Neal Foster, based on Terry Deary’s bestselling Horrible Histories books. Terry Deary is the world’s bestselling non-fiction author for children and one of the most popular children’s authors in the country. He has written 200 books that  have been translated into 42 different languages and his 50 Horrible Histories titles have sold more than 35 million copies worldwide.

Rotten Royals is directed by Abigail Anderson, design is by Jackie Trousdale, lighting by Jason Taylor, and sound by Nick Sagar, music by Matthew Scott and choreography by Kenn Oldfield.
