Blidworth Colliery Welfare CC and Lashes Foundation will be raising money for the charity at a pink ball T20 cricket match.
A Blidworth CW XI will take on a Lashes XI at the Blidworth club’s Sponsors Day on Sunday, 13th August.
The event at the cricket club is raising money for the foundation, which was set up in memory of Clipstone teenager Evie Wilson and aims to continue her good work in the community.
As well as the T20 match, there will be a junior KwikCricket match, barbecue, games, auctions, bouncy castles, and DJs.
Studio 96 Dance and Acro Academy will be performing between the two innings.
Admission is £2.
Evie’s father is Lee Wilson, a former Stags player and a popular member of Clipstone CC.
Lee said the foundation was set up to ensure her name and kindness to others would live on. He explained it was called the Lashes Foundation because Evie loved fake eyelashes.
