A charity is appealing for a host family to help look after an Italian boy while he studies for a few months in Mansfield and Ashfield.

EIL UK (Experiment in International Living) provides opportunities for people of all ages to travel and live and study abroad.

The teenager will arrive on 1st/2nd September 2023 and stay until 24th/25th November 2023 or 17th/18th February 2024.

The host family, which would be paid £154  per week, would have to provide three meals per day, including a packed lunch.

EIL UK said students on the programme integrate into UK culture through living in a host family and attending a local high school.

Students are given a bus pass to travel to and from school, and in the local area.
