Mansfield Museum is giving young visitors the chance to learn about animals and their homes this Easter.
Events include:
Tuesday 7 April – Make a cosy winter home for a grizzly bear
10am-1pm £1 per person
Wednesday 8 April – Design your own zoo
10am-1pm £1 per person
Thursday 9 April – Create your own desert island
10am-1pm £1 per person
Friday 10 April – Design a home for your favourite animal
10am-1pm £1 per person
Monday 13 April – Snakes in the desert
10am-1pm £1 per person
Tuesday 14 April – Design a colourful home for a hermit crab
10am-1pm £1 per person
Wednesday 15 April – Create an arctic landscape
10am-1pm £1 per person
Thursday 16 April – Make an ocean in an egg box
10am-1pm £1 per person
Friday 17 April – Create a mini woodland
10am-1pm £1 per person
There is no need to book a place but if you are a group of 10 or more, the museum asks that you contact them prior to the day of the event.
Friday 10 April – 10am till 1pm – Build a bird box with Maun Conservation group.
Free event but booking essential. Suitable for 7 years +
The sessions are suitable for all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and wear appropriate clothing.
