Probus honours two determined students

Posted onPosted on 4th Jul

Two students have received the Bradley Award from Warsop Men’s Probus Club.

Each year Meden School, Warsop, nominates two learners, who have shown through their own efforts that they have exceeded their own expectations.

This year’s recipients were Aalissa Brown, from year 10, and Jayden Newton from year 9.

Accompanied by teachers Lauren Clogg and Olivia Singleton, they were presented with a plaque and money by James Brian Bradley, president of the Probus club, at a lunch at The Plough pub in the town.

Jayden was nominated because his hard work, politeness, and attendance throughout the year has been impeccable, even in the face of adversity.

He is known for being driven and determined to achieve success.

After an accident last year, Aalissa was determined to get on with her schooling and and was not afraid to ask her teachers for guidance.
She is now back on course to achieve her goals and is very focused on her ambitions.

Probus members aid the two students were a pleasure to talk to.
