Posted onPosted on 28th Apr

Well known faces, well-loved songs and new shows all feature on the bill at Mansfield Palace Theatre this May.

Betty Legs Diamond is taking a sabbatical! She has packed up her heels, handbag and feathers and is tap dancing round the nation, stopping off at Mansfield Palace Theatre on Wednesday 10 May. Don’t miss out on tickets to see the Funny Girls legend on your local stage.

Comedy legends Jasper Carrott and Alistair McGowan split the bill at a night of comedy stand-up and impressions on Thursday 11 May, followed by The Comedy Store on Saturday 13 May.

Rock ‘n’ roll stalwart Barry Steele brings his new show, Great Balls of Fire, on Friday 12 May, featuring favourite rock ‘n’ roll songs from Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison and more.

Hilarious, high energy and full blooded, John Godber’s Teechers Leavers brings to life an array of terrifying teachers and hopeless pupils through the eyes of Salty, Gail and Hobby; three Year 11 students facing a scary world, armed only with imagination and a joy of theatre. See it at the Palace on Monday 15 May.

Midweek matinees return courtesy of Neil Sands and his When You’re Smiling show on Wednesday 24 May. Go for a trip down Memory Lane with over 60 all-time favourite songs from the 40s, 50s and 60s, along with best loved sing-a-longs, ever popular show tunes, and much more.

Stars galore feature in the Spring Panto treat for the next school holidays on Tuesday 30 May. Strictly Come Dancing’s Joanne Clifton will be starring as Rapunzel alongside Dean Gaffney, Jamie and Chuck, and Kerry Katona.

Tickets for all shows can be booked online at mansfieldpalace.co.uk or you can call the Box Office on 01623 463133.
