A Mansfield man has launched a new company to help people and organisations be at their best more of the time.

Optimise Learning, based in Mansfield, specialises in training, keynote speaking, and coaching solutions relating to mental health, wellbeing, and personal development.

Founder Lee Morris said he wanted to support individuals, workplaces, and communities to increase confidence, resilience, wellbeing and happiness.

Lee, who has more than 15 years’ experience as a learning and development professional, is looking to combine his experience with a passion for helping people reach their potential by focusing on their mental health and wellbeing.

As well as being an accredited mental health first aid instructor, he is also an experienced life coach and wellbeing specialist.

“I have always been fascinated by learning and development, but in my early career I had customer service roles in banking and leisure industries,” Lee said.

“I worked my way up into many different operational and HR-related management roles, always with a keen interest in developing people.

“My lightbulb moment came after I’d delivered a training workshop as a manager. I decided to move into a full-time training role and have worked in the L&D team in many sectors, from local government to hospitality.

“More recently, I worked as a director and facilitator of a leadership development consultancy.”

Lee is looking to work with individuals and organisations, providing one-to-one life, career, and wellbeing coaching; mental health training and support; employee wellbeing initiatives via the unique At Your BEST programme; keynote speaking at team meetings, away days, inset days or conferences; and personal development training on topics such as presentation skills, interview skills, and having challenging conversations.

Lee is currently offering local businesses, schools and charities, discounted coaching and free taster workshops.
