Maun View care home in Mansfield achieved a record 10/10 review score from residents and their families on website www.carehome.co.uk.

The new score, awarded in December, made it of the top five highest-rated residential care homes in Nottinghamshire on the website.

Home manager, Sam Bernard said: “The entire team at Maun View is incredibly proud of this rating. We work extremely hard to ensure resident satisfaction and encourage each individual we care for to live the best and most full life they can.”

The residential care and dementia care home, operated by Runwood Homes, hosted a Christmas fayre, when its activity room was transformed into a Christmas wonderland, with a variety of stalls for all ages, games, a raffle, and tombola. Professional singers Shaun Gahan and his partner, Jodie Harris, to entertained.

The event was organised by Nia Alston-Holmes, who gained community support from Yvette Price-Mear, Morrisons community champion Amanda Hamilton, and Hetty’s Charity.
