Staff at Academy Transformation Trust Further Education, Sutton Community Academy took part in ‘PREVENT’ training. The training was provided by Nottinghamshire Police force to raise awareness of the terrorist threat to the UK and how to spot potential signs of radicalisation.

The WRAP training (Workshop to Raise Awareness of Prevent) was designed to make the audience aware of this growing issue and what may make a person more susceptible to radicalisation.

The training involved debate amongst teams and engaging activities around this subject. Staff also learned about how the police force put interventions in place to prevent terrorist acts before they happen.
