Children and staff at a nursery are celebrating after it was rated Outstanding in all ages by Ofsted inspectors.

It is the second Outstanding rating for Busy Bees Mansfield Vicar Water, Clipstone.

The Ofsted inspector said children demonstrate that they feel safe and secure in the staff’s warm and nurturing care.

The report added that children make exceptional progress and start school with an abundance of knowledge and skills.

Staff were recognised for providing “amazing opportunities for all children to participate in rich, varied, and imaginative learning experiences” and use “inventive ways to ignite children’s thirst for learning and maximise spontaneous learning opportunities.”

Child inclusivity was also given a special mention as Ofsted highlighted that children with special educational needs and/or disabilities thrive, while the nursery’s partnership with parents was praised.

“They are hugely committed and dedicated to providing a wonderful and nurturing learning environment so that our children have the best start in life.”
