Civic service of thanksgiving for life of Queen Elizabeth II

A Mansfield church is hosting a civic service of thanksgiving for the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Everyone is invited to attend the service on Sunday, 18th September 18, at St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Mansfield, at 6pm.
The Executive Mayor of Mansfield, Andy Abrahams will attend, together with Mansfield District Council chief executive Adam Hill and the Vice-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire, Col Tim Richmond.
On Monday, the day of the Queen’s funeral, the council will be observing a two-minutes’ silence at the Old Town Hall, Mansfield Market Place, and broadcasting a speech by the executive mayor on its Facebook page.
Books of Condolence are available to sign at the Civic Centre and Old Town Hall, weekdays from 9am to 5pm, until Tuesday, 20th September.
