People are being asked to join a firewalk and raise money for local domestic abuse charity NIDAS.

Those not wanting to walk the coals can watch and encourage the participants from the side lines at The Venue, Kirklington Road, Rainworth, on Friday, 16th September, from 6pm onwards.

A spokesman for NIDAS said: “It is a chance to meet with others from your local community and also learn more about the work NIDAS does to support families affected by domestic abuse. There will also be the opportunity to make a donation by placing your pennies in our collection buckets on the night.
