Ecommerce website development and on-line marketing specialists Purpose Media has appointed Dave Hancock as a graphic designer.

Dave (23), who lives in Heanor, attended the University of Salford to obtain his degree in graphic design. Prior to his appointment at Purpose Media, he worked for a local publishing house focusing on graphic design for regional newspapers. Within a short period he was promoted to head of design responsible for all publications.

Commenting on his new role at Purpose Media, Dave said “I was looking for the next step in my career and wanted to move to a company as ambitious as myself. The opportunity to join an award-winning company was too good for me to turn down.”

Dave joins the graphic design team where he will be responsible for creating visuals of websites for customers. He added: “I am looking forward to the change of pace and being able to get stuck with in-depth projects, as well as making the transition from print based design to website design / development and the challenge of doing so.”

In his spare time Dave is an avid supporter of Derby County and is a regular at the iPro stadium having been a season ticket holder for the past 14 seasons. Outside of football, Dave is a passionate traveller and spent last year travelling all round Thailand and is looking forward to crossing a few more places of his list with his girlfriend Ella.
