Four-time Olympic medallist swimmer Rebecca Adlington is returning to her hometown of Mansfield on Saturday, 10th September to take part in a group of Swim! Mansfield free taster sessions throughout the day – organised to teach and inspire the next generation.

Running from 11am to 3pm, Rebecca will be poolside and interacting with those in attendance, with little ones encouraged to don their swimwear and join in for a lesson in the state-of-the-art pool on Portland Retail Park.

The centre, which opened in February, provides an opportunity for children to learn a life skill in swimming, as well as other transferable skills that can help in all aspects of a child’s development, such as confidence, determination, resilience, and social skills.
