Mansfield Rotary’s new president is Rotn Karen Johnson, who has succeeded Kate Allsop.

Kate headed the club through the pandemic for the past two years.

Prior to the formal changeover Kate welcomed new members Matt Harding, Ashley Booker and Wayne Swiffin into membership of Mansfield Rotary and the global organisation Rotary International.

The trio, who had been associate members, expressed their commitment to supporting the local community through the work of Mansfield Rotary.

Matt has become president-elect and will become president in July 2023.

The changeover evening, which was held at Portland College, concluded with a performance by Mansfield’s award-winning girls’ choir Cantamus, who were presented with a cheque by Kate.
