Mansfield Town striker Ollie Palmer has joined Vanarama Conference side Grimsby Town on loan for one month.
The 22-year-old has been utilised mostly as a substitute for the Stags this season and has joined the Mariners to gain first-team experience.
The loan deal includes the option for the Stags to recall Ollie to One Call Stadium with prior notice.
Boss Adam Murray told www.mansfieldtown.net: “Ollie has not really had a consistent run of games in the first team since he joined the club.
“This loan deal will allow him the opportunity to build up confidence and get into a goalscoring routine.”
The manager added: “We’re wheeling and dealing in this transfer window and an opportunity for players elsewhere opens up an opportunity for us to move things around here at this present time.”
