After two years working from a small outlet along a side street, J & A Sushi has opened new takeaway premises at Intake Business Centre, Kirkland Avenue, Mansfield.

Locals are calling it a hidden gem and the business is also attracting customers from many parts of the UK.

Determined Jolanta Priede and Andzejus Karmanas, from Latvia and Lithuania respectively, whose hard work made the fledgling business a success during lockdown, said they needed larger premises to showcase their food and serve more customers.

Their new Sushi bar offers ready-made platters, poke bowls, fruit smoothies and more. The couple take pre-orders and can also cater for large parties and events.

Jolanta and Andre (pictured) are passionate about sharing their love for sushi and Jolanta puts her ‘Master Sushi’ experience into every dish.
