Card for the Queen winner to be revealed

Posted onPosted on 25th May

Coun Ben Bradley MP has praised Mansfield’s entries to the ‘Card for the Queen’ competition, which is part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Students and young artists from across Mansfield were invited to design a card for the Queen and the winning submission will be displayed in Mansfield Museum on Leeming Street.

Ben judged the competition at N019 Cafe and Bistro, Warsop and is pictured with Marika from the cafe.

“It was a real pleasure and honour to take part in the judging. It was amazing to see the creativity of our local students and young artists,” he said.

“The Platinum Jubilee is truly a once in a lifetime event and I would encourage people across Mansfield to get out and celebrate the Queen’s long service to this country. From Jubilee Proms in Berry Hill Park to street parties on Harworth Close there are plenty of events to choose from.

“Finally, I would just like to say thank you to all of those students and artists who took the time to design a card for the competition.”
