Clipstone Headstocks to host screening of REDt’BLUE

Award-winning film REDt’BLUE, which tells the story of how Mansfield, a former pit town, shocked the nation when in 2017 it became one of the first constituencies of its kind to abandon its Labour Party heritage and voted Conservative at the General Election.

Now the film is to be screened at Clipstone pit headstocks, giving local people a chance to see the documentary in a highly appropriate venue!

Members of the cast and crew who brought REDt’BLUE to life will be available to talk to and Clipstone Headstocks new owners, Stuart and Julie, will give a brief talk on their mission to rebuild the iconic landmark.

The film, which was recently screened to MPs at Westminster, has won many awards.

REDt’BLUEs director Jay Martin will also introduce a selection of short films produced by his production company,Sharp Edge Productions, culminating in the  screening of REDt’BLUE.
