A charity that provides services for people with learning disabilities in Nottinghamshire is appealing for fundraising support.

Reach Learning Disability needs to raise at least £300,000 to continue its work providing support from five centres, including one in Mansfield.

Now it is looking for people to take in a variety of challenge events to help raise money towards the target.

There are places available to take part in a skydive at Langar Airfield on 19th June and to walk, run, skip or jump the Virtual London Marathon on 2nd October. For the marathon people can choose the location, the course and the pace.

There are also a limited number of charity places for this year’s Newark Half-Marathon on 14th August.
