Free health journal for Anytime Fitness members

Posted onPosted on 27th Dec

Health club Anytime Fitness Sutton will be supporting the local community to achieve their newly-set goals in 2022 by offering a free health journal to all new members.

Health-based New Year resolutions are regularly the most popular choice among Brits, with doing more exercise and improving fitness topping the list in 2021 (53%), losing weight (48%) the second most popular resolution, and 39% aspiring to improve their diet.

The comprehensive, free journal will help people track their exercise, nutrition and other key aspects of their health including mental wellbeing, sleep, work/life balance and their family and social environment.

Psychologists believe that failing to write down and track goals is a key reason why New Year resolutions are doomed to failure and the journal aims to combat the statistic that nearly two-thirds of Brits (64%) failed to achieve all their resolutions in 2020.

“The New Year is seen as a turning point for many when it comes to establishing new healthy habits and we’re looking forward to supporting people in Sutton with their health goals, said India Flowers, general manager at Anytime Fitness Sutton. The hardest part is always getting started and our health journal aims to support people with these lifestyle changes and help them celebrate their achievements.

“We always encourage our members to write down everything and track their progress as it’s a great way to stay motivated. Even the small steps and improvements should be celebrated and we’re looking forward to supporting members of the local community who are making a fresh start in 2022.”

Anytime Fitness Sutton, located at The Broad Centre on Station Road, provides all visitors to the club with a free wellbeing appointment to discuss their overall health goals. Rather than the traditional gym induction, the club’s expert coaches take the time to go through individuals’ health goals in detail and share the tailored support that’s available to them.

The club offers 24-hour access, state-of-the-art equipment, private changing rooms, personal training and group fitness classes in safe, clean and welcoming surroundings. Its doors are always open throughout January for those wanting to try the gym, with a free gym pass available to everyone at www.anytimefitness.co.uk.
