Celebration of Learning Week at ATTFE College

Posted onPosted on 15th Dec

Staff and learners at Academy Transformation Trust Further Education (ATTFE) held a Celebration of Learning Week over its four campuses in Sutton, Ollerton and Mansfield.

Learners were presented with certificates and awards in recognition of their commitment to their studies and were praised for excellent attendance, behaviour and attitude and the progress they had made.

Katie Barrett, head of learner experience ,said “It’s been a busy and vibrant term where learners have taken part in different projects and challenges such as completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, fundraising for the Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team as well as taking part in Army activity days.

“This has seen learners pushing themselves out of their comfort zone, developing confidence and resilience and key skills for life.  There has been some fantastic work achieved and it’s been great to see learners feeling proud of their accomplishments.”

Treat boxes were given to classes so they could enjoy their own festive celebrations and it wasn’t just the learners that received certificates and treats as the staff have all been working hard too!

Staff have been upskilling and completing subject related qualifications with 16 staff completing Mental Health First Aid training.  The ATTFE Festive elves have been spreading cheer around the campuses as they have been handing out gifts to thank the staff for the wonderful work they have been doing this academic year.
