Purpose Media’s latest appointment, Pete Everitt, has Paris in his sights when he starts his new role as digital planning director – but on this occasion it’s in aid of charity rather than related to a multi-lingual website for an export client.
Pete, who has more than eight years of creative agency experience, is going to take part in the London-to-Paris bike ride in 2015 in aid of Sheffield Children’s Hospital. He has set a goal of raising £1,000 but first he has to get to grips with his new role at Purpose Media which will mean playing a key part of the management team as well as overseeing the smooth running of projects.
Welcoming him to the company, Matt Wheatcroft, managing director, said: “I have been trying to tempt Pete to joins us for two years because he is great with clients. I am pleased that he has realised there is an exciting future for him at Purpose Media.
“As a rapidly expanding business someone with Pete’s skill sets is vital to helping us manage the wide-ranging and growing numbers of e-commerce projects we are doing for more than 600 customers that are involved in manufacturing, retailing and wholesaling businesses.”
Prior to joining Purpose Media, Pete ran his own website develop development consultancy, Koda Digital Media, which will be integrated into Purpose Media. Pete has web development and client liaison experience, having worked on prestigious projects for clients that have included the RAF, who wanted an online ticketing website for an airshow.
Pete lives in Sheffield and is married to Gabriella and they have two young sons, Isaac and Joel.
